The Listening Space (Coming Soon)

Holly Alex BSc (Hons), Dip Couns, GMBPsS

A space to talk. A space to be heard. A space to just be.

Sometimes, we don’t need someone to fix things or tell us what to do. Sometimes, we just need someone to listen.

The Listening Space offers non-clinical emotional support through compassionate listening, honest conversation and reflection. Grounded in peer support principles and trauma-informed approaches, it provides a non-judgemental space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace.

Whether you’re navigating difficult experiences, feeling overwhelmed or simply need someone to talk to, you don’t need to have all the answers before you begin.

My approach is rooted in compassion, trust and respect for your individual experiences. I believe that meaningful conversations can help us feel less alone and begin to make sense of what we’re going through. You don’t need to reach breaking point to deserve support.

In Collaboration with ECHO

I’m delighted to be collaborating with ECHO, an organisation working to make support more accessible for individuals and families navigating mental health, neurodivergence, education and wellbeing. ECHO aims to create a compassionate, inclusive community where people can access practical information, feel understood and find the support they need before reaching crisis point.

From 2027, I’ll be hosting a free online support session once a month. These sessions will offer a welcoming, judgement-free space to connect, share experiences if you wish, and feel less alone. The themes will develop over time, shaped by the needs and interests of those who attend.

Everyone is welcome, and there’s no pressure to speak or share. Whether you’re looking for connection, understanding or simply a space to listen, you’re welcome to join us.
